Unlike nearly every game show and quiz show ever made, the vast bulk of every programmes' questions are written bespoke during each of the "as live" studio recordings, for each episode. The only pre-written questions are for the contestant background graphics, and some of the staged (pre-planned) guest appearances, and "fake ad breaks". Game and quiz shows traditionally stockpile all the fact checked questions and answers required weeks and even months in advance of the studio recordings. As this show is written "on the fly", many of the "live" written questions, incorporate throw away comments that Jimmy Carr, the contestants, the writers, and guests say during the broadcast version. Very rarely, an error slips through, due to the shows "as live" studio energy, but this is rectified as soon as possible, most likely when it is spotted during reviews of each episode recording before editing.
