Stefanos Sitaras was 14 years old when he wrote, directed, and edited this film.

The film had two premiers back to back at the 11th Opening Nights Athens Film Festival, in 2005.

The traditional music sung by the female choir had never before been recorded or published. With the help of his father, director Stefanos Sitaras and sound recordist Dimitris Anastasopoulos payed a visit to the Pantokrator-Tao Monastery, and persuaded Mother Superior and twelve Sisters to sit in a circle and sing five or six songs for the film.
