The story is overall well-written with enough depth to keep your attention yet not too complex so that it cannot be watched while unwinding. Aside from the flashbacks to the past, which occasionally feel drawn-out to buy time in the episodes, I definitely like the story arch and the MacGuffin of social justice and conspiracy on both sides, if you want to call them that.
This is a series where you'll have to watch more than one episode to really understand where they're going with this - if you turn off too early you might leave disappointed, thinking it's a cheesy action series.
The actors are well-chosen for their roles and fit the narrative nearly perfectly. Aside from some over-the-top acting in certain scenes, I'm definitely happy with the cast.
The only downside - in my opinion - is the end. It's a bit much. It's nonetheless interesting to see. Though I will not spoil it for you-- just go watch it for yourself.
