Jones Television could not continue to produce the show after Producer/Director Jerry Oliver left. In fact, the entire studio shut down less than a year after his departure. On the show's MySpace page, it is noted that 12 bands were ready to participate in Season Seven (Wade Ogle, Chase Missy, Army of Birds, Tiffany Christopher, Cletus Got Shot, The Plaid Jackets, Dreamfast!, Paul Boatwright, American Princes, Cindy Woolf, Matt Smith Trio and Groovement) and an additional 17 bands were negotiating for upcoming shows (Dave Baer, Rochelle, Memphis Pencils, Ben Miller Band, Deas Vail, Spoken, Kingsdown, Jarris, Chase Pagan, Grand Serenade, Joe Purdy, Pope County Bootleggers, Cory Lamb, Ben Rector, the Smithstonians and Surf De Soleil).
