- TriviaIn the Greek myth, Parthenope is the siren who committed suicide after failing to enchant Odysseus. Her body was brought by the tide to the place where Castel dell'Ovo is now built, and for this she gave the name to the city that would have later become Neapolis, Naples. I have never seen such a blend of random scenes, it is a long mix of random things that happen, some really randomly without any reason and without any consequence.
During the first hour, the main character behaves like any 16yo tumblr wanna be mysterious girl would, just spitting out groups of high-register words too seem intellectual.
They tried to fit 500 things into the life of this girl, and it just doesn't make sense.
Lots of changes between the sceenes happen when a question is asked, that might give an "artistic" feel to the movie at first, but then after the 5th time, becomes annoying.
Some characters just hop into the movie then vanish for no apparent reason, too much is left unsaid and unexplained.
The ending is the best part and gives a partial feel of accomplishment to an otherwise inconclusive movie.
