    Bad Episode (4/10).

Well, Another Bad Episode. Let's See What We Have Here, This Time. This Episode Is About When Missy Steals Her Dad's Truck, &amp Runs Away With Paige. While There Are Some Funny &amp Entertaining Moments, This Episode Is Just Boring, The Coopers Were Annoying, &amp Mary &amp George Doesn't Seem To Understand Or Care Why Missy Ran Away. Those 2 Have Apparently Lost Their Mind. I Feel Bad For Missy When She Started Having Her Difficult Period. The 1st Time I Heard Sheldon As An Adult Narrated That, I Teared Up A Little. Now Sure, Missy Shouldn't Have Stole Her Dad's Truck, But It's Her Neglectful Parents Fault. If I Were On That Show. I Would Tell Them With More Details. I Just Didn't Like How Things Turned Out For Missy's Life After The Previous Episode.

    RATING: Bad Episode (40/100).

    Missy is a strong character

This episode provides some great character development for Missy, but it still struggles with pacing issues that have been a recurring problem for the series.

The episode follows Missy as she steals a truck in order to run away from home. As she drives around, she seeks out the troubled Paige to accompany her. The scenes with Missy are a highlight of the episode, and bring added depth to her character.

However, the slower story movements continue to frustrate me. This episode, like others in the series, drags out some storylines without giving them any real development. The series has a tendency to linger on ideas without providing enough momentum to keep things interesting.

The acting in this episode, particularly from Missy and Paige, is strong and believable. The chemistry between the two actors is wonderful, and they are able to make the most out of the script's limitations.

Overall, "A Stolen Truck and Going on the Lam" is an episode that has some good character moments, but continues to suffer from the same slow pacing that has plagued the series since its inception. It's a solid entry in the series, but it still has a lot of work to do to reach its full potential.

    • Trivia
Shortly before filming this episode, Raegan Revord, who plays Missy, and her real-life mother were in a car accident. It scared her, so she was nervous about having to get behind the wheel so soon afterward. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Revord said that she was glad that Mckenna Grace, who plays her friend Paige, was with her to help her get through the nerves.
    • Goofs
Sheldon drew a map estimating how far Missy and Paige could have driven in the time they were gone. The circle should have been centered on their home. Instead, it was centered somewhere in southern Louisiana.
