The storyline is exciting and tense, a taxi driver who is kind and loves his family meets a mysterious man who has no empathy and no fear, on the other hand there is a mother who lost her child, believing that her child was a murder victim.
The first episode is tense, there is no need to doubt that the senior actor's acting is very natural, the mysterious man has great character in playing his role, the struggle of a mother investigating the death of her child is very touching. The story is difficult to predict and there are some scenes of violence that are quite scary because there are a lot of horrors that are quite sadistic and emotionally draining in this series, but for those who like tense thriller stories, this is highly recommended and worth watching.

Sometimes I just love chilling out to crap TV.... I just tune out and disappear....right?
But this isn't that.
This is quirky, different and decidedly Unpredictable.
It's interesting and edgy....
I'm telling you I'm a BIG FAN of Korean TV.
You'll be on the edge of your seat, screaming at the screen, arguing with your friends about details, and planning your own escape, defense and attack at the SAME TIME.
It's hilariously different from Western TV. Hilarious blended with the perfect amount of Excitement.
It's actually quite brilliant.
It takes a certain level of intelligence to let go of preconceived notions and formatting....but if you're open....you will LOVE this series.
Quirky. Funny. Exciting.

Korean Drama '' A Bloody Lucky Day '' is a psychological thriller that centers around its characters.
The drama has many unpredictable twists, and even though the plot gets frustrating at times, it is thrilling and suspenseful till the very ending.
The characters of the drama, in addition, are all interesting and aid with the success of the drama a lot. The performances, moreover, are excellent and everyone did a great job, including the side characters. The two main leads were, actually, great.
The action scenes, also, were nicely embedded in the story, and the blood, even though was plenty, wasn't distracting the audience from the main plot.
So, overall, eight out of ten.

Korean shows and films about serial murder have made a huge inpact on the crime genre and this one is just an excellent example.
The story is great, but the fights and struggles definitely take the cake, they are raw, ruthless and while watching you can't help but feel actually scared of what human beings are capable of. Even though this show is fully fiction it definitely got some inspiration from events of the real world. The way it portrais psychopaths and victims of violent crimes are proffessionally executed.
The actors and actresses are definitely very talented, mainly our two main characters that created a bone-chilling atmosphere for this show.

There is nothing to do, when the Koreans want to hit and shock the viewer they succeed and do not make discounts and this excellent mini series is the proof.
A Bloody lucky day is a tour de force in the meanders of human madness and wickedness and everything is told without discounts or censorship, all the horror and gratuitous wickedness that emanates from the character of Lee Beyong Sin freezes the blood, among other things excellent performance by Yoo Yeon Seok really excellent, and we end up in a whirlwind of truly devastating madness.
Also great is the character of Oh Taek (extraordinary Lee Sung Min) of which we see the change during the various episodes, from a helpless victim and incapable of reacting to a ruthless avenger.
The story nails the viewer to the chair from the first to the last episode, the script, with continuous flashbacks is written impeccably, without even the slightest smudge, something increasingly rare, especially in bad American productions.
A series that you absolutely must watch, knowing that in the end you will be left shocked and disturbed.

A Bloody Lucky Day is yet another hit series out of South Korea. I had no expectations going in to this as the premise did not sound too original, but I was dead wrong on that.
Our taxi driver protagonist (played by Lee Sung-min) starts off as an ordinary middle aged man, but the changes you see in his character are truly what makes the series a worthwhile and suspenseful viewing experience. He and our protagonist (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) also have great on-screen chemistry. The acting all around is top notch.
The creators of A Bloody Lucky Day certainly show their filmmaking prowess here by keeping the show fresh and interesting. There is hardly a dull moment.
Forgive me if this is a little bit vague. All I can say is give this series a chance, you won't be able to look away!

I have watched 498 kdramas and movies. This is one of the top 10 best acted, best scripted, most suspenseful of them all. It's so brutal and bloody ,but I was so engaged I couldn't look away. The cinematography and atmosphere are rich and intense. Don't miss it! The plot revolves around an encounter between a serial killer and a loving family man who fell victim to a scammer and lost all of his money. He becomes a taxi driver to try to make money to regain and reset his life. He ends up picking up a passenger who will stand in the way of his path to recovery. It's becomes a real thrill ride. Watch it!!

Wow, just wow. I binged this in an afternoon and morning. The more episodes I watched, the more I literally sat at the edge of my couch and talked at the TV (neither of which I normally do).
At first, I thought the story would go one way, then it completely went a different way. TBH, I feel like there could've been a couple more episodes. It does feel complete in and of itself, but I wish there was more background about the antagonist's parents. It's ok though, totally still worth the watch!
I've been watching Kdramas/movies for a while, and this has the best dub for English speakers that I've heard. Compared to the subtitles, the dubbed dialogue was wildly different. It would have been a totally different movie had I relied on subtitles alone (which I will absolutely do if the dub is poor). Makes me wonder what was done different with this dub!

A BLOODY LUCKY DAY (2023 - ) is a interesting and thrilling Kdrama about an optimistic taxi driver who is desperate to pay off his financial debts, having been a victim of a scammer, in order to restore and reunite his family. In order to accomplish this, he begins taking on extra clientele, one of which turns out to be a serial killer.
Lee Sung-min plays the optimistic, kind-natured, Oh Taek. He is very believable and memorable in his role and I always enjoy his acting. His happy-go-lucky persona is perfectly counter balanced by the dark, sadistic character of Lee Byeong-min (played by Yoo Yeon-seok). The two have an interesting chemistry and creates great tension for the series.
There is another parallel storyline in this series about a mother (Yoon Se-na played by Han Dong-hee) doggedly searching for her son's killer. She is another excellent and believable character and you can really empathize for her situation.
The whole series is really intense, realistic and compelling and although there are a few aspects where you may have to suspend your belief, it never felt too much and certainly kept things interesting.
"An ordinary taxi driver who becomes entangled with a customer that turns out to be a serial killer."
Overall, this was an excellent show. I appreciate the unique approach to the somewhat overdone genre and topic of mystery / thrillers concerning serial killers. The acting is really great, as is the storyline, settings and music. This was a really fun watch, great for fans of suspense, mystery and thriller Kdramas and I can't wait to see more! Wooo Part 2!
