My toddlers love this show, and we have watched numerous car shows and movies over the years. It definitely promotes the Matchbox products as well as their partner companies, but all cartoons come along with some promo for parents to get the matching toys. It's well written and very creative. I enjoy watching it with my five children. We are looking forward to other seasons coming out, as they've repeatedly watched those that are available. It's a refreshing take on a cute car cartoon and promotes learning as well as social skills. The siblings and friend play really well together and work as a team to solve problems.
Checked this out on a whim and watched a couple episodes. It's effectively two kids acting out playing with cars and their respective fantasies, like how I would play with them when I was little. As a kids show, it demonstrates to kids how to better play with their cars effectively, or how to play along with a sibling in a friendly manner, because the kids never fight while getting along quite well. The animation is entirely on modeling the cars, which are all real, and detract any ingenuity a show could serve to offer. I haven't watched any other car cartoons to compare this besides the first hot wheels highway movie, which is what I'm going off of. What this show seems to me is literally just car advertising. Each car that allears is named overtly, EG "sister, hop in your Audi E-Tron!" and showcases manufacturer features like crawl control and the like. There's not much imagination involved in the show - it's more of a meaningless animation and thinly veiled showcase than an educational or entertaining cartoon. This is also because, a lot of the cars showcased are brand new, like '21 model year, high volume electric vehicles (Tesla, VW ID.4) instead of cars with character or unique ones.
Overall, a harmless show unambitious in its impact.
