The Help (2011)
Beautiful
The Help is a powerful film set in 1960s Mississippi, tackling issues of racism, courage, and change. Directed by Tate Taylor and based on Kathryn Stockett's novel, the story follows Skeeter (Emma Stone), a young writer who interviews African American maids about their experiences working for white families. Viola Davis delivers a heartfelt performance as Aibileen, a maid who bravely shares her painful experiences, while Octavia Spencer shines as the outspoken Minny. The film explores friendship, empathy, and the fight for justice in a segregated society, making it both inspiring and thought-provoking.
Jerry Maguire (1996)
Cute Black Guy
"Jerry Maguire" is an iconic film that brilliantly combines romance, drama, and sports, wrapped around themes of integrity, love, and personal growth. Tom Cruise delivers an unforgettable performance as Jerry, a sports agent who experiences a crisis of conscience, leading him to redefine his career and life. Renee Zellweger charms as Dorothy, bringing warmth and depth to the story. Cuba Gooding Jr. Shines, stealing scenes with his energetic, Oscar-winning role. The film's memorable quotes like "Show me the money!" and "You complete me" resonate deeply, making it an emotionally uplifting and heartwarming classic about redemption and human connection.
Gifted (2017)
Beautiful Performances
I wish the movie was a bit longer. Gifted beautifully captures the bond between Frank and Mary, bringing both warmth and depth to the story. Chris Evans and Mckenna Grace deliver such heartfelt performances that I almost cried watching their connection unfold. The film touches on the challenges of raising a gifted child without losing sight of love, family, and what truly matters. It's rare to find a movie that balances intellect and emotion so well. I watched it in one stretch, fully captivated by the story. A truly touching experience.

Moneyball (2011)
Disappointing from my watchlist
Here's a simplified version of the review:
Moneyball mostly focuses on Brad Pitt's character, Billy Beane, but it doesn't show him doing much of the actual work. Instead, he's often just watching or listening while Jonah Hill's character, Peter Brand, does all the data analysis and number crunching. Pete is the one who figures out the strategy, running the numbers and explaining everything, while Billy just goes along with it.
The movie tries to create some drama with the scouts and the team manager, but those conflicts don't really go anywhere and just disappear. It's like the movie sets up problems and then forgets about them.
There's also some backstory about Billy's past in baseball and his relationship with his daughter, but these parts feel tacked on and don't add much to the main story. They seem to be there just to make Billy a bit more relatable, but they don't feel necessary.
And they didn't win, instead red sox won.
King Richard (2021)
Brilliant movie
King Richard is an inspiring film about Venus and Serena Williams, focusing on their father, Richard Williams, who dreamed big for his daughters. Will Smith delivers a powerful performance as Richard, showcasing his dedication to their success. The film primarily highlights Venus, who was the first to make a mark in professional tennis, which can leave fans wanting more from Serena's incredible journey. While it's a heartfelt look at their early years and family struggles, it misses the chance to fully capture Serena's amazing era. Overall, it's an uplifting movie about determination and family.
The Truman Show (1998)
Amazing
*The Truman Show* (1998) is a satirical drama directed by Peter Weir, starring Jim Carrey as Truman Burbank, a man who unknowingly lives his entire life on a reality TV show. His seemingly perfect world is actually a massive, controlled set, with every person in his life-friends, family, coworkers-being actors. As Truman begins to question his reality, he discovers clues that lead him to the truth and faces the choice between comfort in the familiar and the risk of true freedom. The film explores deep themes of media control, individual freedom, and the nature of reality.

Murder Mubarak (2024)
Worst movie ever
Worst movie I'd watched in years. Started watching because of Pankar Tripathi.
I started watching **Murder Mubarak** with high hopes, solely because of **Pankaj Tripathi**. But what unfolded was a baffling, disjointed experience that left me scratching my head and wondering if I had accidentally put on a different movie halfway through.
The plot, if you can even call it that, twists and turns like a drunken snake. Characters pop up with no introduction, and disappear just as quickly, leaving you wondering, "Wait, who was that guy?" There's no coherent storyline to cling to, just a series of confusing events strung together in the most frustrating way possible. I swear I tried to follow along, but it felt like the director was deliberately trying to confuse the audience.
Even Pankaj Tripathi, the only reason I hit play, couldn't save this chaotic trainwreck. His usual brilliance was completely wasted, trapped in a script that seemed to be written by someone who Googled "mystery movie" and decided to throw in every possible trope and twist with zero explanation.
I gave up halfway through, not even caring how it ends. If you're looking for a plot, characters that make sense, or any shred of logic-**Murder Mubarak** is not the movie for you.
The Terminal (2004)
Novraski
**"The Terminal"** (2004), directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Hanks, is a heartwarming dramedy inspired by true events. Here's the story:
The film revolves around Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks), a man from the fictional Eastern European country of Krakozhia. Viktor arrives at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport just as his homeland undergoes a sudden coup, causing his country's government to collapse. Due to this, Krakozhia is no longer recognized by the U. S. or international authorities. His passport and visa become invalid, leaving him stateless and unable to enter the U. S. or return home.
Viktor is forced to live in the airport terminal indefinitely, as he waits for his legal status to be resolved. While initially confused and frustrated, Viktor makes the best of his situation. Over time, he adapts to the airport environment, building relationships with staff, finding ways to survive, and even picking up odd jobs. His kindness and resilience endear him to many, although the airport's strict and ambitious head of security, Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci), views Viktor as a nuisance and tries to force him out.
During his stay, Viktor befriends airport employees and even falls in love with Amelia Warren (Catherine Zeta-Jones), a flight attendant. Despite the challenges, Viktor remains optimistic and driven by a personal mission-his visit to New York has a specific, heartfelt purpose that slowly unfolds as the story progresses.
The movie showcases themes of hope, perseverance, and human connection, with Viktor's simple determination standing in contrast to the bureaucratic coldness around him. His time in the terminal becomes a journey of personal growth and discovery.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
Deeper
1. **Exploration of Memory and Love**: The movie tackles the complexity of relationships, especially how painful memories often coexist with positive ones. It asks the question: if we could erase the pain, would we still want to? The characters realize that even though they erased each other from their minds, they were drawn back together, suggesting that love and connection transcend memory. This resonates with viewers on a deep, existential level.
2. **Human Imperfection**: The film delves into the imperfection of relationships. It shows that every couple has fights, regrets, and bad moments, but these don't diminish the value of the relationship. People love the idea that even if we had the chance to start over, we might still make the same mistakes because love is imperfect.
3. **Non-linear Storytelling**: The film's structure is unconventional, jumping between memories and present moments. This disorienting style mirrors the process of memory loss, making the audience experience confusion and clarity alongside the characters. It's a challenging narrative style, which for some viewers, adds to the beauty of the film.
4. **Themes of Forgiveness and Acceptance**: By the end, Joel and Clementine choose to accept their flaws and potential future problems, suggesting that true love isn't about perfection but about accepting each other's flaws. This is a powerful and relatable message for many viewers.
5. **Philosophical Depth**: The film touches on existential themes like identity, memory, and the nature of human experience. Can we truly erase parts of ourselves? And if we could, would it make us happier? These questions make people think long after watching the movie.
La sociedad de la nieve (2023)
Last moment made me cry!
*Society of the Snow* delivers a powerful and emotional retelling of the 1972 Andes plane crash, portraying the survivors' harrowing fight for survival in one of the world's most unforgiving environments. The film stands out for its raw portrayal of both the physical and emotional toll, with breathtaking cinematography and heartfelt performances that make the struggle deeply personal. The final scene is where the emotional weight of the story truly hits. As the survivors, now older, reflect on their ordeal, the scene is filled with bittersweet emotion, highlighting the bonds, sacrifices, and scars that linger. It's a deeply moving, tearful conclusion to an unforgettable film.

A Beautiful Mind (2001)
Resilence at its best
"A Beautiful Mind" is a captivating biographical drama that chronicles the life of John Nash, a brilliant mathematician whose genius is marred by his struggle with schizophrenia. Russell Crowe delivers a powerful performance as Nash, portraying his journey from academic stardom to battling the blurred lines between reality and delusion. The film masterfully blends elements of psychological thriller and emotional drama, drawing viewers into Nash's mind and his fight to overcome his inner demons. Directed by Ron Howard, the movie balances the harsh realities of mental illness with a story of resilience and love, making it both heartbreaking and inspiring. Jennifer Connelly shines as Nash's supportive wife, adding depth to the emotional core of the story. "A Beautiful Mind" is a thought-provoking exploration of genius, madness, and the enduring power of love.
The Elephant Whisperers (2022)
Cute Raghu and Ammu
Review for "The Elephant Whisperers"**
Rating: 6.5/10*
"The Elephant Whisperers" offers a touching glimpse into the bond between humans and elephants, set against the stunning backdrop of South India's forests. The real stars are Raghu and Ammu, two incredibly cute baby elephants whose playful antics and gentle nature are beautifully captured. While the documentary excels in showcasing this connection, it occasionally drags and could benefit from a more engaging narrative. Still, the film's heartwarming moments and breathtaking cinematography make it worth a watch, especially for animal lovers.
Capharnaüm (2018)
Stunning Acting, Powerful Questions
In the film *Capernaum*, Zain and his family lack official papers due to their extreme poverty and marginalization in Lebanese society. They are undocumented, which means they don't have birth certificates, identification, or any legal recognition. This lack of documentation reflects their social invisibility and the systemic neglect faced by the poorest communities. Without papers, they can't access basic services, legal rights, or education, trapping them in a cycle of poverty and desperation. This is a central theme of the film, highlighting the harsh realities faced by undocumented individuals.
Both the boys are so cute specially yonas!! Absolutely adored him.
Catch Me If You Can (2002)
Stunning ending

While incarcerated, Frank offers his expertise to the FBI to identify counterfeit checks, leading to his early release. He then works for the FBI alongside Carl, helping catch other fraudsters. The film ends with Frank's redemption, as he becomes a respected expert in fraud prevention and security, turning his life around. Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank (2024)
Full comic entertainer
Loved all characters specially Rajkumar, Pankaj tripathi and abhishek banarjee.
Mazza aa gaya!
**Street 2** is a Bollywood horror-comedy that continues the story from the first movie, "Stree." The film brings back the main characters, including Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Pankaj Tripathi, who play their roles well, adding humor and drama to the spooky storyline.
The story picks up with the mysterious spirit, Stree, who is still haunting the town. The characters come together to solve the mystery and stop Stree once and for all. There are some funny moments, clever dialogues, and a good mix of scares and laughs.
However, the movie has its flaws. The plot sometimes feels stretched, and some parts might not be as exciting or scary as expected. The first half is engaging, but the second half might lose some of your interest. The climax is decent, but it could have been stronger.
Overall, "Stree 2" is a fun watch if you enjoyed the first movie. It combines comedy and horror in a way that entertains but doesn't offer much new. If you liked the characters and humor from "Stree," you'll probably enjoy this sequel too.
Bandish Bandits (2020)
Fab music
The trailer definitely did not do justice to this show. This was a very beautifully written show with extremely good music and I think this music is going to be in my players forever. I felt like knowing classical music more after watching the show and I feel like going to Rajasthan just to listen this classical music Live. The story of Radhe and Tamanna was also very nice but sometimes I felt this was a little stretched not their relationship but the whole family dynamics were nobody was speaking to someone and then problems just got stretch and stretched so yeah that I felt few episodes were stretched over the issue of 50 lakhs again and again.
Inspector Rishi (2024)
Must watch- vanirachi
What a beautiful series, a mixture of horror and mystery. It made me really scared at times because I I was watching it alone but then a lot of mysteries made me complete the series in two days only. How the environment factor was there was quite beautiful, and then at the end there was a suspense of one Ranchi exist. There were a lot of angles and stories and a lot of different aspects covered in this movie including a gear relationship, a lot of superstitions, the past haunting and the murders were also quite unique that I have never seen I respect JS Nandini for this find direction writing. Quite beautiful.
Into the Wild (2007)
Quite Boring tbh
"Into the Wild" (2007) disappoints with its bland storytelling, shallow characters, and uninspired cinematography. The nonlinear narrative feels disjointed, failing to immerse viewers in Christopher McCandless's journey. Lacking depth, the film struggles to explore its themes of freedom and self-discovery effectively. Despite the promising premise, the Alaskan wilderness fails to captivate, with lackluster visuals. Character development is minimal, leaving audiences disconnected from McCandless's motivations. The film's ambiguous ending further underscores its lack of direction and coherence. Ultimately, "Into the Wild" falls short of leaving a lasting impression, offering little insight or emotional impact.
It didnt have an end!!!!
Swades: We, the People (2004)
Amazing
"Swades" is a heartwarming movie about a NASA scientist named Mohan who returns to India to find his childhood nanny. As he reconnects with his roots, Mohan becomes deeply invested in the rural community's struggles and decides to make a difference. The film beautifully portrays themes of patriotism, social responsibility, and the importance of giving back to one's country. Shah Rukh Khan delivers a stellar performance, and the movie's message resonates strongly with audiences. Overall, "Swades" is a touching and inspiring film that celebrates the power of individual action to bring about positive change in society.
The Reader (2008)
Umm okayish
There were few questions that I couldn't voice to text/: I understand that is why gate late even decided to go for the camps killing then why Michael started sending him tapes and then why she choose to kill herself later in the end and why didn't she admit that she did not write this letter it was because of illiteracy but however she started reading it means she started learning the language over I found this movie to be very dramatic with not so much twist I mean yeah there were a lot of twist but the end was somehow I was not expecting that and maybe because I've already read on the Internet But I overall fine acting and they were a lot of good scenes also.
Green Book (2018)
Stunning
I don't think I'd watched such a good movie in a long time. Beautifully crafted, superb acting and it was funny at times. This did remind me of Trevor Noah's story too!10/10 - Deserves every bit of oscar'19

Good Will Hunting (1997)
Ummmm
Will hunting was a super mathematician who didn't want to study who didn't want to work hard and he just wanted to live a very simple life because he had some issues and torture with his childhood but he was given a very beautiful mind somehow did not understand why he couldn't play a piano but he could remember everything The professor made him meet a therapist which really understood him and really got through him and then finally started talking he started dating some more I did not like it so much because his childhood issues was not protected and how it was was it justified to not work for him and somehow after his friends talk he starteddoing it also.
Pride & Prejudice (2005)
Beautiful
I think I love the character Mr Dorsey and Elizabeth some more felt that they are very juicy and very hot couple. The movie moved around the sister's wedding, Jane was in love with Mr Bengali no I think it was why he was a Mr Ben he was in love with Jane. The movie was around that if the couple would have gotten married and Who was the person who Part them off. I think overall I love the chemistry between the main actors and I really really loved character as she was very pretty and honest and on the other hand Mr dorsey was cold but he got melted a lot for Elizabeth. I really love the scenes where her mother made up the room and her sisters when Mr Beley and Mr dorsey were about to arrive.
Brittany Runs a Marathon (2019)
Ummm blaa
Somehow I felt the emotions were missing in one fine day after her Neighbour told her she started preparing for the marathon but then she kept on continuing and there was no road blocks, I mean there was no bigger incident that made her feel like why even she is doing that. She was so adamant on marathon and somehow it became the marathon but overall was about losing her weight but the picture did not connect really well. The one thing that happened is that I actually wanted to do a marathon and I applied for it so yeah for all that picture turned out to be good for me and now I am running for my seventh April marathon which is of 10 km and I've never run 10 km.
