A título personal, como médico de primer contacto, el tener buena comunicación con el paciente, formar un vínculo desde la primer consulta es invaluable para un buen diagnóstico, tratamiento y pronostico, el escuchar claramente lo que te dice el paciente y buscar que el paciente te entienda es vital para llevar de manera adecuada una consulta con calidad y calidez y que mi paciente siga un plan terapéutico adecuado, el no escuchar, ni retroalimentar los comentarios además de estar mal, da una mala percepción de la consulta, no hace quedar mal como profesionales de la salud y peor aún puede tener consecuencias en la salud del paciente, así que es mejor escuchar, analizar y retroalimentar al paciente en la consulta.

Many physicians are more concerned with the consequences of giving concrete and specific feedback because what can come next may be even more challenging and time consuming. Ask for specific feedback, protect the physician and any subsequent time commitment to the process to make sure there is a willingness to giving feedback in the first place.
