Season of Service continues! Let's check out our East Coast teams: 🍽️ The Bear has nothing on the Shelton, CT crew. A group of folks at the Spooner House food bank prepared packages for several families, cleaned and organized the pantry, fridge and freezer — AND made dinner for 29 people in the 3 hours they were there! 🎃 Also in Shelton, we worked with TEAM INC to supply 50+ mini pumpkins to preschoolers ages 3-5. Our employees spent the morning decorating them with the children. The pics are simply TCFW (Too Cute for Work), so you'll have to trust us on this one. 🗽Meanwhile, members of our NYC team, alongside some IAC pals, spent the day beautifying Hudson River Park with the nonprofit Hudson River Park Friends Thank you Eryn G., Spandana Koduri, Amy A., Amy Borecki, Christopher Greves, Jijun Zhang, Kelly Thompson, Mary Maillet, Stacy Gargiulo, Tarmi Addonizio, Yazhen Yuan, and all involved for your commitment to Care in our communities.

Do you know how much nearly half (47%) of parents spend on child care each year? More than $18,000. Child care has finally claimed a spot in the presidential race, with both parties addressing the issue head-on. This overdue attention couldn’t come at a more critical time. With Election Day fast approaching, it’s crucial for parents to understand where the candidates stand on this issue. Bryan Jamele broke down each side’s approach, so you have the facts you need to make an informed choice at the polls for your family. Get all the details here: https://bit.ly/3Aaj89N

Our Season of Service started with a bang! This is our annual team commitment to volunteering and bringing Care to our communities. We've been busy, so let's kick it off with our Austin team crew. 🐾 Pawsitively proud of our team for rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty at Austin Pets Alive! Getting to play with cute pups was a great reward after a day spent cleaning enclosures at the animal shelter. 👗 "It's actually cerulean." Another group of Austin volunteers spent the day at Dress for Success Austin, helping them organize their space that provides support and professional attire for unemployed and underemployed women. Thank you Andrea Gonzalez, Andres Mendoza, Baylee Priest, Geoffrey DeCanio, Leslie Hall, Michelle L., Nathan H., Scott Seaton, Amanda Cook, Nicole Ostrowski, SHRM-CP, Carmen Tolliver, Madeline Alexander, Daniel Jimenez, Carla Perez and David Moore for your great work. Next up: our East Coast teams!

We need answers: What's making these folks laugh so hard during their panel at International Performance Management Institute (IPMI)'s HR Management Institute event in NOLA?! Wes Burke moderated a panel with Crystal Lannaman (Affiliated Monitoring), Miriam Lewis (Principal Financial Group) and Bobby Griffin (Rockwell Automation) about harnessing a culture of purpose and belonging in the workplace. As you can see, it was a very dry, boring discussion. 😂 Thank you for having us, IPMI!

Amidst a seemingly divided political landscape, child care stands out as a shared priority that transcends party lines. As a prime example of this, Senators Katie Britt (R-AL) and Tim Kaine (D-VA) have come together to introduce a comprehensive child care package aimed at addressing one of the most pressing challenges facing American families today. Bryan Jamele had the honor and privilege of sitting down with Senators Britt and Kaine to delve into the details of their proposal, what this effort means for the future of child care in the U.S, and the significance of bipartisan collaboration. Get all the details of their bipartisan effort at bit.ly/bipartisan-care now.
