Yesterday I got a demo of the new WPVibe.ai feature which I believe will be the future of WordPress site management in the AI era.
If you're a WordPress agency or someone who manages multiple WordPress sites, this is going to be a game changer for your workflow 😍
It's called Fleet Management - I think we probably got to work on the name.
Basically it allows you to manage and update multiple WordPress sites from a single chat interface inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.
Think of it as a free ManageWP alternative except right inside your favorite AI tool.
You simply connect WPVibe and ask: "what needs updating across my sites".
A list of every connected site renders in the chat: pending plugin, theme and core updates, with version numbers. Simply select the sites you want to update, confirm the plan and it runs in the background.
Per site, in order:
1. Recheck what's pending right before touching it, in case something changed since the list rendered.
2. Update.
3. Verify the new version number actually landed.
4. If a site fails, that site stops. The rest keep going.
For WordPress core updates, it pauses for a browser approval, because core can't be rolled back from WPVibe and we'd rather you click to be safe.
No more host execution timeout limits either. The background job can handle: a search-replace across a big database, hundreds of spam comments deletion, a few hundred trashed posts, stale users.
Each task the agent does, it leaves a record of exactly what was done, so you have it for your record.
If you're an agency, freelancer, or someone who manages multiple WordPress sites, give it a try -- you're going to love it.
This feature was built with feedback from our agency users. What it doesn't do yet: backups or uptime monitoring ... at least not yet 😉
