Warhead 105 just came off the line in central Texas . A significant number for the Bravo Ordnance team. In less than 30 days we completed a production contract order of complete warheads (entire warhead not pictured) and we did it a month ahead of expected deadlines for our customer supporting allied nations. Next month our capacity will rapidly grow to 3000 of this same warhead a month. We’re 10 months old. We’re not just doing r&d. We are producing production order contracts. This morning I'm making an important announcement about my future and the future of warfare. Warfare is evolving. Our industrial base can't keep pace with consumption when 21st century battle employs 20th century weapons technology. Novel munitions are having an outsized impact on the battlefield at a fraction of the scale of employment ... and yet the doctrine is barely evolved beyond hanging a grenade on a quadcopter. Enter Bravo Ordnance. We make warheads. End-to-end design, prototyping, testing, and production. Our own explosives. Our own fusing and safety. More than that, we make the soon-to-be hundreds-of-billions $$ SUAS market truly dual use, because we turn a COTS drone into a mil-spec munition. Bravo designs warheads for the specific delivery platform, preserving vehicle performance while delivering effects. So I'm joining Bravo as Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel (my first law role in 7 years). I'm stoked to be working with longtime friend Devan Plantamura, as well as new friends Anthony Jones and Jacob Lambuth, and ever grateful for Paige Craig for his vigilance. You're going to watch this grow fast. I'm not leaving SBIR Advisors Inc. completely. I'm still a co-founder, equity owner, board member, and now Partner. My primary role over the last four years has been to keep our portfolio full of amazing companies. We've grown so much that role is now a team and a full-blown sales ops process. Bryan J. Guinn is the right CRO to lead Meagan (Cox) Homer and Nick Rueve as they continue to blow up the most badass dual-use portfolio in the country. I'm grateful for the long-time friendship of Samuel Riehn, MBA and excited to assume a more emeritus role. With the recent announcement of Bravo Ordnance raising our seed round, I want to share a bit more. We are not just an idea or hype. We’re a real company, shipping real products, solving real problems. In less than 6 months from conception, we’ve landed contracts, supported real-world customers, and shifted from prototypes to scaled manufacturing. Customer A example: • Introduction via a mutual connection → listened carefully to their needs • One month later: signed a contract • Two days later: completed the prototype design • Two days later: manufactured 3 test articles • Two weeks later: tested the warheads • Two more weeks: shipped 4 final products • And just now: produced 20 more heading to the customer In under 45 days, we helped make a flight vehicle lethal and are ready to produce 1,000 units per month at the drop of a hat.
