Trust means trust. In a time of fact-checking, double meanings, and lost translations, trust remains one of the clearest concepts to me. Whether conscious or intuitive, fact-based or instinctive — trust means you can rely on something. I’m proud to announce the launch of trust.syncron.com — the Security Trust Center that represents the essence of my three years at Syncron. A special thanks to Mikaela Öberg for expertly navigating, structuring, and delivering such a comprehensive security program — one that allows us to provide so many assurance artifacts to our customers. And to Drata (Ashley Hyman and Alex Platt), for setting a new standard in how trust should be earned, not just claimed. This initiative won’t make us immune to incidents — nothing can. But it will, I trust, inspire confidence in our ongoing efforts to protect data, people, and business value at Syncron.

The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Final Rule is now in effect. 📝 As of November 10, 2025, defense contractors and suppliers handling Federal Contract Information (FCI) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) must meet new CMMC requirements, including verified cybersecurity practices and ongoing compliance throughout the life of a contract. With the Department of Defense emphasizing accountability and continuous validation, organizations across the Defense Industrial Base will need to demonstrate their cybersecurity posture with accuracy and confidence. From my time with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration to Portfolium (Acquired by Instructure), and now with Drata, the experience of proving and earning trust has been a constant theme throughout my career. Four years ago, a chance cornhole match at SaaStr turned into one of those memorable professional connections that sticks with you. Fast forward to today - and I couldn’t be more energized to join Drata as Chief Financial Officer.
