We're heading to TechNet Cyber, and David Herbst, our Director of Solutions, Federal, is taking the stage to tackle one of the toughest challenges in modern defense: enforcing Zero Trust at the tactical edge. In today’s contested and disconnected battlespace, centralized trust models break down fast. Forces must operate through jamming, disruption, and DDIL conditions where cloud reachback can’t be assumed and policy enforcement has to move closer to the warfighter. David’s session, “Zero Trust at the Tactical Edge: Enforcing Policy in Contested and Disconnected Battlespace,” explores how DISA, the DoD, and industry can push identity, access control, and continuous authentication out to the edge, across classified and unclassified networks, while keeping C2 and JADO resilient even when links are unstable or partially severed. He’ll break down what it takes to treat Zero Trust not as a centralized service, but as a distributed warfighting capability built to survive modern conflict. Join us at TechNet Cyber to be part of the conversation shaping the future of secure, mission‑ready operations. #TechNetCyber #ZeroTrust #DDIL #TacticalEdge #MissionCritical #DefenseTech #JADC2 #C2 #CyberDefense #NationalSecurity

The tools got smarter. Fast. And I'll be honest — keeping pace with them is my biggest professional challenge right now. Not the tools themselves. The learning. The gap between having access to something powerful and actually knowing how to use it well. A good friend said it best: "The best AI-native organization is one designed with room for humans to grow." That line stopped me. Because it's exactly what my team stumbled into — weekly sessions where we compare notes, share what's working, and make sense of a shifting landscape together. No agenda. No deliverables. Just practitioners learning out loud. Two ideas from Japanese philosophy have quietly shaped how I think about all of this — Kaizen and Ikigai. One grounds the pace of learning. The other grounds the why. The tools are going to keep getting smarter. That's a given. The better question: are you building organizations — and habits — that give people room to grow alongside them? My latest article explores this intersection of orchestration, collaboration, and what it actually means to grow with the tools we're deploying. #AI #Collaboration #Kaizen #FutureOfWork #AIAdoption

AI‑powered threats are outpacing legacy defenses, and financial institutions can’t afford to fall behind. Attackers are using AI to automate phishing, mimic executives, and generate malware at scale. With mission‑critical workflows failing in nearly 50% of cyber incidents, AI‑enabled, secure collaboration is no longer optional, it’s operational resilience. AI doesn’t replace human judgment, it amplifies it. The organizations that adapt will strengthen resilience. Those that don’t will make headlines. https://lnkd.in/gamiUQk5 #SecureCollaboration #FinancialServices #Cybersecurity #AI #IncidentResponse #ZeroTrust #AIGovernance #FinServSecurity #OperationalResilience
