Most small businesses can't afford a strategy team. That's why David Balkind built one. After 12 years advising companies in Scotland on innovation and R&D funding, he turned that experience into a team of specialized AI agents — each one representing a role needed to build an R&D strategy. With Claude Code and MCP, Miro builds the board they work from automatically, structured and ready in minutes. Small business owners get access to a range of perspectives working through the problem together — and a solid foundation to build their R&D grant application from. Now, David wants to take his tool even further: real people collaborating on that same board, right alongside their personal agents. Watch how he made it in Miro.

Miro in Berlin 🇩🇪 Last week, Productlab brought product leaders together for three days of open, peer to peer conversations about what’s working, what isn’t, and how teams are approaching AI along the way. Our own Joe McLean and Vihar Parikh took the stage to talk about what changes when a product org goes agentic, and what it takes to move from AI Assisted to AI Native. A few things we took away: → Every team is at a different stage of building an AI strategy and becoming AI Native. That’s okay. There’s no single starting line. → Becoming AI Native isn’t just about which tools you use. It changes how teams work together. → Berlin’s product community brought a lot of curiosity, candor, and good conversation. We’re already looking forward to the next one. Thanks to Productlab and everyone who joined the session, stopped by the booth, or came over for a conversation.

Healthcare teams don't need more complexity. They need more time to focus on patients. That's the challenge Proximie is solving. By combining AI, machine learning, and real-time operational insights, they're helping hospitals reduce admin tasks and make better use of operating rooms. Collaboration is what makes that possible. Proximie uses Miro to bring together designers, developers, and business teams to solve complex problems, iterate faster, and even explore new ways to visualize live data with Miro AI. Proximie transformed from a telepresence company into a digitally AI-native organization. Along the way, Miro has helped their distributed teams collaborate across disciplines, explore new possibilities with AI, and build the future of healthcare, together. Watch how Proximie is using Miro to help bring better healthcare to more patients.

Research is a big part of how we work at Miro. Feed Forward is one way we bring it closer to the work. The program gives teams regular opportunities to hear directly from users, bringing those conversations into the product development process earlier and helping research become something more people can take part in. On this episode of How We Work, Dominik Katz and Miro’s UX Research Manager, Josh Morales, get into how Feed Forward works, why research is becoming everyone’s job, and how AI is pushing the role toward prototyping and experimentation. Your best thinking doesn't live in the decision. It lives in the debate that got you there. Miro's Chief Transformation Officer Hryhorii (Grisha) Pavlotskyi calls this the "golden context" — the reasoning, pushback, and rejected alternatives that vanish the moment a meeting ends. Capture it, and every next decision starts smarter. Lose it, and your team starts from zero. Again. Read his take in Forbes on why context is becoming the real competitive advantage: https://lnkd.in/eVSmx-Xu

"Wait, Miro can do this?" That's what Kusuma S. hears when he runs design thinking workshops — for students, digital nomads, and professionals who've never written a line of code. People arrive with something half-formed in their head, and watch it become an app they can click through. Using his AI-assisted product development flow that runs in Miro and connects with Lovable via MCP, he tackled a problem close to home in Bali: building an app that lets locals report trash in their area and rallies volunteers to help clear it. Robyn has great ideas. Sharing them with the team means finding them first. Miro MCP pulls your thinking in from every AI tool you use to a board, where your whole team can actually see it, build on it, and move it forward. That Netflix tab, however... remains yours.

A good workshop can move fast. The follow-up should too. GitHub’s product team used Miro to turn workshop feedback into organized themes and backlog-ready GitHub issues, cutting a process that took 7+ days to less than one. For Alexandra Yanes, Sr. Product Manager, People Systems at GitHub, the difference is simple: “It has changed how fast we move from idea to action.” See how GitHub is putting AI to work across its teams: https://lnkd.in/es9APfX8

AI is easy to demo. Getting it into how a team actually works is the hard part. That's what 39 product, design and technology leaders came to solve at the first Miro AI Bootcamp in Singapore, a half-day of building real workflows with Miro Flows and Sidekicks, with teams from Government Technology Agency, Keppel, Riot Games and United Overseas Bank in the room. Weeks later at Demo Day, they presented what they'd built. Revathi Vijayamurugan (NCS) and Nicole Tan (Adaptovate) took the stage. A short snippet of what they made with Miro 👇 Thank you everyone who built something real.

What's the last thing your team rebuilt three times before agreeing on it? Your team can build faster than ever right now. So can everyone else's. That's the uncomfortable part of the AI shift nobody talks about enough. Speed stopped being the advantage, but deciding what to build, and staying aligned once you start, is where teams are actually losing ground. On September 17, Douglas Ferguson (CEO, Voltage Control) joins us to unpack his "New Friction" thesis: AI made building cheap and moved the real bottleneck upstream, to deciding, aligning, and giving both people and AI agents the shared context to move together. You'll leave with a working model for the three jobs that decide whether AI makes your team faster, or just busier.
