From Park & Ride services and paratransit programs to partnerships with Uber and Lyft, PSTA is ahead of the curve and constantly finding new and innovative ways to connect passengers to places throughout Pinellas County — located within the Greater Tampa Bay area. Founded in 1984 and as a trusted public transport provider, PSTA provides millions of passenger trips a year. The PSTA fleet is equipped with 210 buses that serve 4,400 bus stops on 41 routes in Pinellas County, including two express routes that travel to Tampa. PSTA proudly connects workers to their jobs and consumers to businesses, all while relieving traffic and parking congestion, improving air quality and reducing individual commuting costs. Our mission to be people’s first choice for transportation and a driving force for social, environmental, and economic vitality in the community through innovation and partnership is what drives us — and our buses — to safely connect people to places.

Monday ignited a new way of connection in Pinellas County! ⚡ 🥳 State & local officials, students, and faculty of Eckerd College joined us in celebrating the launch of the Spark route! The Spark is an all-electric express bus service that connects Eckerd College and the Skyway Marina District with Downtown St. Petersburg and St. Pete Beach. Designed to deliver faster, cleaner, and more reliable travel, Spark expands access to jobs, schools, and essential services while advancing the city’s vision for a sustainable, connected future. Last Thursday, PSTA and Clearwater Ferry cut the ribbon to celebrate the official re-launch of the Clearwater Ferry Blue Line, connecting Dunedin, Clearwater, and Clearwater Beach!⛴️ ⚓ Thank you to the City of Clearwater, City of Dunedin, Pinellas County Commission, and Dunedin Chamber of Commerce for attending. We're beyond excited to finally bring this beloved ferry route back to the citizens and businesses of Dunedin. Can't wait to see you out there on the water!
