In partnership with the Department of Industries, Govt. of Bihar, we recently conducted a hands-on AI workshop for 300 department officials, focused on helping them build familiarity with AI tools and understand how AI can be applied in everyday administrative and operational workflows. From drafting official notes and summarising lengthy documents to analysing reports, improving research workflows, and understanding responsible AI usage, the session was designed to move beyond theory and provide practical, real-world exposure to AI tools. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in the way institutions operate, building confidence, capability, and responsible adoption will be critical to unlocking its full potential.
