You can open a PR faster than ever, but shipping still depends on knowing whether the change is correct, safe, and ready for production. Today, we’re bringing two review workflows to Windsurf 2.0: 1. Devin Review in Windsurf Run Devin Review directly from the IDE. See bugs, comments, and findings on your PR without leaving your editor. Devin Review helps with deeper PR review: smart diff organization, copy/move detection, clear explanations, and a path from findings to fixes through Devin. 2. Quick Review Run a fast local review on your working tree before opening a PR. Quick Review is powered by SWE-check, our specialized bug detection model that’s up to 10x faster than a deep review agent while preserving accuracy. Use Quick Review before pushing. Use Devin Review when your PR is ready for deeper review. Both are available today in Windsurf 2.0.

Introducing Windsurf 2.0, featuring the Agent Command Center, and Devin in Windsurf. The Agent Command Center is new surface inside Windsurf that shows every agent you're running – local and cloud – in a single Kanban view. Spaces group sessions, PRs, files, and context by project, so managing agents starts to feel like managing a team. Devin AI, Cognition's autonomous cloud agent, is now built directly into Windsurf and included with every plan. Plan with a local agent, delegate to Devin with one click, review the PR – all in the same surface. Devin is included with every Windsurf plan. Access to Devin Cloud is rolling out gradually. If you don't see Devin Cloud in Windsurf, try logging out and logging in again.

Wave 14: Arena Mode is live in Windsurf! Benchmarks don't reflect real-world coding quality. The best model for your engineers depends on your team’s codebase and tech stack. That's why we built Arena Mode. Arena Mode runs two or more AI models on the same prompt side by side, directly inside Windsurf Cascade. You compare the responses and vote on which performed better. Your votes feed into two leaderboards: a personal leaderboard showing which models work best for you, and a public leaderboard aggregated across all Windsurf users. We've also added Plan Mode, available in the Cascade toggle alongside Code and Ask Mode.
