Lan Jiang
Lan is intrigued by computational analytics in biotech and healthcare, as well as data and machine learning infrastructure and applications to various industries. Some of her areas of focus include digital healthcare services, platform therapeutics innovation, biopharma tooling, developer infrastructure and more. As the middle child, Lan is a lifelong listener, a strong believer in underdogs, and a partner to the scrappy and independently curious.
Lan’s interests initially stemmed in research. Lan’s first introduction to computational analytics was in studying hypocretin production, after which she spent over 7 years conducting research spanning glioblastoma segmentation, nanocomposite fluid-flow simulation, Alzheimer’s drug therapies, and more.

Lan has also worked in a number of product and engineering roles across healthcare, frontier tech, and security. Lan launched Zoom’s first telehealth product during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and she was an early hire for a seed-stage autism care platform through the Kleiner Perkin’s Engineering fellowship. Lan also helped drive Tesla’s body shop automation efforts and improve Facebook’s privacy and data security practices.
Lan earned her BS in Computer Science in 2.5 years from Stanford, where she graduated top of her class as Phi Beta Kappa. While at Stanford, Lan co-directed TreeHacks (the university’s flagship hackathon) and fostered the builder community on campus. Lan also served as Managing Partner of Dorm Room Fund (the original student-run venture fund backing students and alums), for which she founded the first iteration of Female Investors’ Track and led Female Founders’ Track.
