Bug Race is an Adobe Flash game that was available from the official Mario Party 6 website. The game's gameplay is identical to the minigame Insectiride.
Gameplay[edit]
Once the game begins, the player is told to choose a character to play as. Depending on the character chosen, the player will have to type a longer or shorter series of strings of characters on their keyboard to make the character they have chosen move. The longer the sequence, the more the player can move. Mario controls the grasshopper, Wario controls the beetle, Yoshi controls the snail and Peach controls the ladybug. Upon completing the game, the player can download a wallpaper of their character.
