Freeze-It is an Adobe Flash game made to promote Mario Party 6 on the Nintendo GameCube. It was one of three Adobe Flash games playable from the "Night Mini-Games" section of the official Mario Party 6 website.
Gameplay[edit]
Freeze-It functions as a short puzzle game, with the player having to use the "Electro-Freeze-Ray" and freeze a series of pucks bouncing around the playing field within a time limit of 30 seconds. In addition, the Electro-Freeze-Ray moves automatically after the player chooses a direction. Freezing all three at the same time ends the game and allows the player to download a Waluigi wallpaper. If the player is too slow when attempting to freeze all three, the pucks will unfreeze and continue bouncing around the playing field. If the player plays this game a second time after winning, the Electro-Freeze-Ray will be automatically moving from the start as well, making the game more difficult. Each time the player wins and plays again, the ray starts from a different height and switches between moving left and right as well as up and down, though the player still obtains the same Waluigi wallpaper regardless.
Notes[edit]
- If the player switches to another tab in their browser, waits slightly longer than the 30-second time limit, and goes back to the tab with the game, the timer will have gone lower than zero and will continue counting in negatives.
