Capcom (clipped compound of "Capsule Computers") is a Japanese company that manufactures and distributes electronic game machines. Well-known for creating multimillion-selling franchises such as Mega Man, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, and Ace Attorney, the company has manufactured many Japan-only Super Mario–franchise arcade games. The company's official mascot, Mega Man, managed to appear in the German magazine Club Nintendo comics alongside Mario, and is playable (along with Ryu from Street Fighter) in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Street Fighter character Ken Masters is also playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. On April 1, 2019, Sega took over technical support for Capcom's arcade machines that were still being supported.[2][3]

Donkey Kong: Jungle Fever 2005 Capcom ended maintenance on February 28, 2019.[4]
Super Mario Fushigi no Korokoro Party 2 2005 Capcom ended monitor repairs on March 31, 2016,[5] then ended all maintenance on March 31, 2017.[6]
Donkey Kong: Banana Kingdom 2006 Capcom ended maintenance on February 28, 2019.[4]
Mario Party Fushigi no Korokoro Catcher 2009 Sold by Bandai Namco.[7][8] Bandai Namco ended its maintenance for the machine on April 1, 2013,[9] and Sega took over Capcom's maintenance later on. Sega ended its maintenance in June 2023.[10]
New Super Mario Bros. Wii Coin World 2011 Sega took over maintenance, then ended it in June 2023.[10][11]
