End of the Line is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 3.

Overview[edit]

The minigame opens with both players on a railroad track, becoming suddenly startled upon turning around to see Steamer moving toward them at high speed. Steamer hits the players, who they land into his tender.

Each player tries to return Steamer to the station first. There are three junctions where the player character has a choice between two tunnels, and whoever enters the wrong tunnel has to restart. The player that reaches the end first wins. If either both players finish at the same time or have not reached the end within five minutes, it is a draw.

In the ending, the winning player does their victory pose as Steamer returns them to the station.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick left – Select left tunnel
  • Control Stick right – Select right tunnel
