Storm Chasers is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 3 and a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party: The Top 100 and Mario Party Superstars.

Overview[edit]

Storm Chasers from Mario Party Superstars
Gameplay from Mario Party Superstars

Each player holds a potted Piranha Plant and goes after a rain cloud, trying to water theirs.[1][2][3] The rain clouds resemble Lakitu's Clouds more closely in later versions. About partway through, Monty Moles pop out of holes, briefly stunning a player on contact. The player who has watered their Piranha Plant the most wins.

The minigame title refers to the phrase of the same title, describing people who spectate and pursue severe storms.
