Super Mario World marks the first appearance of "GOAL Wipe". It plays during the iris out transition after the Course Clear theme.
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2[edit]
In Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, "GOAL Wipe" plays where it is louder and slightly longer and compressed due to the technical limitations of the Game Boy Advance.

Super Mario 3D Land[edit]
The original version of "GOAL Wipe" plays in Super Mario 3D Land during the iris out transition after Luigi's letter is found after beating the game.
Super Mario Maker 2[edit]
The original version of "GOAL Wipe" plays in Super Mario Maker 2 in the cutscene after clearing a Super World.
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars[edit]
In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, an arrangement of "GOAL Wipe" plays when a cutscene irises out, such as when Mario goes to sleep. The Nintendo Switch remake uses the same sound effect.
