The Moogle Dance is Moogle's Special Shot in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. It is activated by tapping out an "M" twice. The sequence starts with Moogle bouncing on the ball several times,[1] then rolling around on it twice, and lastly throwing the ball into the basket. Cosmetically, the ball glows white during the move, and fireworks in various colors appear when it is dunked. Like other Special Shots, Moogle Dance requires a teammate to dunk if it used outside of the three-point line.[2]
The move's name is a play on "Moogle Dance", MiniMog's summon ability in Final Fantasy VIII, but it not connected to the source material otherwise.
