Variant of Snorkel Snake

Mr. Eels,[1] also simply called Eels,[2] are enemies that appear in Yoshi's Story. They are small Snorkel Snake–like eels with magenta bodies, light blue lips, and blue tails that appear exclusively in Jungle Puddle, Neuron Jungle, and Lots O'Fish. Mr. Eels do nothing but mindlessly swim through levels, moving through walls and other obstacles. As a result, Mr. Eels do not pose much of a threat. They always come in unlimited numbers, which can prove to be useful, as they can be eaten by a Yoshi to restore life on the latter's Smile Meter. When a Yoshi eats a Mr. Eel, the latter turns into an egg, but it is useless underwater.
