"Yoshi's Story!",[1] also formatted as "Yoshi's Story",[2] is a musical theme composed by Kazumi Totaka for the game of the same name, where it plays in the game's title screen and during the opening cutscene. It is sung by the Yoshis, and prominently features a seven-note marimba riff as the bassline. This theme is often paired in later arrangements with "Yoshi's Song" from the same game.

Yoshi's Story[edit]

Yoshi's Story marks the first appearance of "Yoshi's Tale". It is also included in the official albums Music to Pound the Ground to: Yoshi's Story Game Soundtrack, Love, Peace & Happiness: The Original Yoshi's Story Soundtrack, and Yoshi Story Original Soundtrack.

A brief arrangement of "Yoshi's Story!" is incorporated at the end of the theme that plays during the ending cutscene. It is titled "Yoshi's Tale" in the Nintendo Music app.

Super Smash Bros. features two arrangements of "Yoshi's Story!" arranged by Hirokazu Ando.

A medley arrangement of "Yoshi's Song" and "Yoshi's Story!" plays in the Yoshi's Island stage. It is titled 「ヨッシーアイランドステージ」 (Yosshī Airando Sutēji, "Yoshi's Island Stage") in the official Nintendo All-Star! Dairantō Smash Brothers Original Soundtrack album.

An uptempo samba medley arrangement of "Yoshi's Song" and "Yoshi's Story!" arranged by Hirokazu Ando plays in the Yoshi's Story stage. It is titled "Yoshi's Story" in the game's sound test.
