Vs. Lakitu Launch is an Action minigame in New Super Mario Bros. It is exclusive to multiplayer, as it is playable only in the Vs. Battle mode.
Gameplay[edit]
The minigame plays similarly to the single-player version. Players have 30 seconds to use slingshots to launch Spiny Eggs into the Koopa Shells that the Lakitus are moving in a circular pattern. Each of the players has different-colored Spiny Eggs, however, that must be shot into the correct shell; launching a Spiny Egg into the incorrect shell gives the opponent a point. Players fire the Spiny Egg by pulling back on the Touch Screen in the direction they wish to fire. At the end, the Spinies in each Koopa Shell are tallied, and the player with more in theirs wins.
