MUJI USA's online store delivery area includes the contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, and over 40 countries. Oversized items are restricted to the contiguous states. Furniture can only be delivered to specific zip codes (see below). We do not ship to AFP and FPO addresses. Please visit muji.com to shop at your local MUJI.

Home Delivery [HD] Delivery Restrictions

Home Delivery [HD] is a layaway order service in which products will be delivered from MUJI warehouses to customer’s locations using our cooperating couriers.

We offer threshold delivery up to the doorstep/just inside of the entryway of your home/unit/apartment.

Other Exclusions

Home Delivery is only available for large furniture items in designated areas, limiting to the following zip codes:

We currently ship all US domestic orders through Fedex (standard shipping), USPS, and UPS. All orders include tracking, which will be provided by email after your order has been processed, and is ready to be shipped.

Express shipping is no longer available since August 8th, 2022.

Standard Shipping (excluding oversized items)

Free Standard Shipping is available for cart subtotals over $80 excluding oversized items. Shipping & handling surcharges will be applied to oversized products. All extra charges are also indicated on relevant product pages and will be displayed in the shipping subtotal for your order.

¹Delivery ETAs are subject to possible delays, especially during the holiday season or high-volume periods. Couriers may also experience their own delays while transporting packages.

²Cart subtotal threshold is calculated before discounts and taxes.

³Free Standard Shipping does not apply to any oversized and furniture orders.

⁴Free Shipping on suitcases does not apply to US Non-contiguous orders. $25 per suitcase for shipping to Hawaii and Alaska will occur in addition to the standard US Non-contiguous shipping surcharge of $25 per order.

⁵Free Standard Shipping threshold is $50 for orders delivering to California, Washington, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.

Shipping & Handling Surcharges (oversized & furniture)

Additional shipping fees will be added to the standard shipping rate for orders that exceed a certain size or weight. Items requiring additional handling fees cannot be shipped to Hawaii / Alaska / Virgin Islands.

International orders are shipped with UPS.

Please note that delivery times go into effect the business day after you place an order.

Due to recent changes in postal regulations in Mexico, it is now required to include the following on shipments of goods and services entering the country:

For Mexican Residents: Provide your Tax Identification Number, RFC (Registro Federal de Contribuyentes).

For non-Mexican (foreign) Nationals, Provide an alternative identification number, such as a Social Security Number (SSN), Tax ID, or Passport Number.

This information must be included on the shipping address to clear customs; failure to provide it can result in delays or a package hold at customs.
