Letter of Recommendation
Abdallah Awad did his master thesis at the department of Biology, Lund University during the fall 2012 under
my supervision. The practical work in the lab was supervised by my postdoc Nicholas Rosenstock. Abdallah is a
devoted student, very keen to achieve his goals. Under the right supervision he can perform very well and
achieve good results. He is prepared to work long evenings in the lab to obtain necessary data and I was very
impressed by his working capacity. During his studies at Lund University he developed considerably and he has
nowachieved the basic knowledge in Ecology needed to perform a PhD at our department, or similar
departments. I highly recommend him for a PhD program. He definitely has the working capacity and the skills.
