Josh Rocker is a senior at Sanger High School who wants to pursue a career in engineering or public service. He has worked hard to maintain a 3.5 GPA while being involved in several clubs and student government. His goals are to attend Fresno State to study engineering with the aim of becoming an astronaut, or alternatively to become a firefighter if that does not work out. My name is Josh Rocker. I am a senior at Sanger High School. I am writing this letter to
introduce myself and talk about how I see my future. Over the last few years l've been working
hard to keep my grades up and get my work done. I am very excited and confident in my future.

to become an Astronaut. I will have to do a lot of hard work to become an Astronaut but I am
very confident in myself. lf I do not go through with becoming an Astronaut, I would like to
become a Firefighter. I've already had experience and I've had a few classes for becoming a
job while I'm in
Firefighter. l'm also going to be taking EMT classes which will help me get a
college. overall, I will do whatever it takes to pursue my career.

Throughout my high school years, l've been through a lot of ups and downs but I

grades, but I have grown into a very responsible and outgoing person that cares very much
about my grades and respects others. I average a 3.5 GPA. I've been very active with many
different clubs including: lnteract, CSF, Link Crew, and a few other clubs. l've also been active
