Cake - Chocolate Fudge Cake
1. Place the cocoa powder, oil, butter and water into a heavy bottomed sauce pan
and heat until the butter has melted and the mix become thick and stodgy.
2. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
3. Mix the flour and sugar together making sure that there are no clumps of flour.
4. Beat the eggs, milk and vanilla together.
5. Mix the flour and sugar into the cocoa using a wooden spoon and beat until it is
a smooth paste.
6. Stir in the milk mix ensuring that the mixture remains lump free.
7. Tip into a greased and lined cake tin.
8. Place into a moderately hot oven and cook until the cake mix has souffléd and
cracked. A skewer should come out clean when inserted into the centre of the
cake.
9. Leave to cool in the tin for 15 minutes before turning out onto a cake rack.
