Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened 1 cup white sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons hot water 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 3 ! degrees " #1$ degrees %&. 2. %ream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. 'eat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. (issolve baking soda in hot water. )dd to batter along with salt. *tir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. (rop b+ large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans. 3. 'ake for about 1! minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicel+ browned.
