 The definision of procedure text


Procedure text is a piece of text that give us instructions for doing
something.
 The purpose of procedure text.
The purpose of procedure text is to tell the reader how to do or make
something through a sequence of actions or steps.
 Generic structure of procedure text.
1. Goal : it is containt the purpose of the text.
2. Materials or ingredient : it is containt of the materials that used in
the process.
3. Step : it is containt of the steps to make something in the goal.
 Language features of procedure text
In the procedure use :
1. Simple present tense (S+V1+O)
Example :
a) Wash(V1) your(S) hands(O)
2. Use of imperatives.
Example :
a) Shake the bottle gently
b) wash your hands with soap and water
3. Use of action verb.
Example :
a) Tilt your head back
b) Clean your eye area
4. Use of connectives.
a) First, wash your hands with soap and water
b) Finally, wash your hand after use eye drops
5. Use of adverbal phrases.
a) Shake the bottle gently
b) Store the eye drops properly

How to use eye drop
Definition of eye drops
Eye drops is medicated solution for the eyes that is applied in drops
usually singular and hyphenated when used before another noun.
The purpose of eye drops
Drops can treat this infection or irritation of the conjunctiva, the clear
membrane that lines your eyelid and covers your eye. If the cause is a
bacterial or viral infection, you”ll get antibiotic drops.
3 types of eye drops
1. Lubricating eye drops : You can help to restore the moisture in
your eyes.
2. Allergy eye drops : You can combat these symptoms and start to
feel like yoreslf once again
3. Prescription strength eye drops: You will be given prescription
strength eye drops to help correct your vision problems and help
you feel better.
Step to move on
4. First, wash your hands with soap and water
5. Second, read the instructions
6. Inspect the eye drop
7. Check the expirations date of the container
8. Clean your eye area
9. Shake the bottle gently
10. Avoid touching the tip of the container
11. Place your thumb above your eyebrow
12. Tilt your head back
13. Squeeze the bottle
14. Wait five minutes before a second drop
15. Replace the top
16. Wait 10 to 15 minutes for other drops
17. Store the eye drops properly
18. Finally, wash your hand after use eye drops
