   7    Ensure H2 Pressure >280 kpa & H2 purity is more than 96%.
        Ensure stator coil cooling water pump is running, other pump is in Interlock & tank level normal, flow is

        adequate. Ensure stator water conductivity is <1.5 μs/cm.
   9    Ensure vacuum pump running and vacuum is > -87 Kpa.

        Ensure all MAL drains & extraction line drains are open

        Ensure MS temp with FSMT and HRH temp with IPBDT for 56 0C degree superheat

        Ensure that startup steam parameters are achieved as follows

  (a) For cold start (i.e. if HP shaft temperature < 204 0C)
        MS - 5 Mpa & > 340 0C and HRH ≤ 0.828 Mpa & >320 0C

  (b) For warm start (i.e. if HP shaft temperature 204<t<300 0C)
        MS - 7 Mpa & > 360 0C and HRH ≤ 0.828 Mpa & >330 0C

        Start EH oil pump & keep other pump in interlock and ensure pressure is >11 Mpa and temp is 30-45◦C.

        Start HP sealing oil pump & pressure is about 8.8 ksc

        Charge CCW for exciter and generator cooler.

        If mill is in service, stop the feeder & restrict oil burners to 7.

  31 In DEH overview, press LIMIT SET icon and set high load (HL) = 315 MW, low load (LL) = 0 MW and valve
     position (VPL) = 120%. Indication for HL & LL is OUT and VPL is IN.

     For cold rolling
   Roll the turbine to 600 rpm @ 100rpm/min and hold for 15 mins. If turbine reaches 3 rpm check turning gear is
     disengaged & turning gear motor stops automatically.
   Raise the speed to 1970 rpm @ 250 rpm/min & soak for 3 hours. Soaking is not necessary if turbine HP & IP
     rotor metal temp >121 0C.
   During soaking period limit the throttle inlet steam temperature to 427 0C Max and maintain reheat inlet steam
     temperature above 260 0C.
   Raise the speed to 2950 rpm @ 250 rpm/min. Ensure JOP stopped at 2600 rpm & LP cylinder spray valve
     opens.

     For warm, hot and super hot rolling
   Roll the turbine At 600 rpm @ 100rpm/min and hold for 4 mins. If turbine reaches 3 rpm check turning gear is
     disengaged & turning gear motor stops automatically.
   Raise the speed to 2950 rpm @ 250 rpm/min. Ensure JOP stopped at 2600 rpm & LP cylinder spray valve
     opens.

     Record casing & differential expansion, rotor position and turbine vibration are normal.
  35 Ensure lube oil bearing inlet < 45 0C, lube oil, sealing oil, H2 pressure, lube oil level and seal oil /hydrogen
     DP are normal.

     Ensure the Top and bottom temp difference of inner casing of HP&IP < 42 ◦C.

        Ensure Bus side & Bay side isolators closed condition & breaker is ready for close.
     Before TV-GV Transfer, Chest Metal Temperature should be not less than corresponding saturated steam

     temperature for the throttle pressure. Calculation for steam chest metal temperature (Tc) =Ts+1.36 (Td-Ts).
     Ts=SCSLT & SCSRT, Td= SCDLT & SCDRT
  39 Go to valve mode, ensure SIG/SEQ selection in SIG and press TV-GV transfer, GV will go for Min position
     and TV will go for full open.
