MoneyGram
MoneyGram is a money transfer service that FNB offers customers for cross-border, person-to-person payments to more than 200
countries and territories excluding Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland.
This is an easy and affordable, quick and convenient way to send or receive foreign currency and its speed and simplicity ensure a
same-day transaction. All you need to send a MoneyGram is an FNB account – along with some money in it, of course!
You can send a MoneyGram from an FNB branch, ATM or via Cellphone Banking. All beneficiaries must be loaded in a branch, after
which you’ll be able to transact via FNB ATMs or Cellphone Banking. You will receive a reference number confirming you have sent the
money. You will need to give this reference number to the beneficiary.
The beneficiary can then go to their nearest MoneyGram agent in their country with the reference number and present their
identity document to collect the money within minutes of you sending it.
