Dear Shri/Smt. HEMEN GOGOI,

With reference to your application for admission to the Ph.D. programme of the Institute in the Autumn Semester of 2019-2020, you are hereby
requested to report to the Head of the Department/Centre/School of Deysarkar Centre of Excellence in Petroleum Engineering at 9.00 a.m. on 03-
06-2019 for appearing at Written Test and Interview. Please note interveiw may continue till the next day.

You must submit the following documents at the time of Written Test and Interview :

1) Photocopy of the application.


2) Original Marksheet of all the examinations for verification and copies thereof.
3) Original Certificate for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/EWS category for verification and copies thereof, if applicable.
4) Copy of GATE score/NET fellowship (for those applying for Institute Research Assistantship).
5) No Objection Certificate and an Experience Certificate (for Sponsored candidates) from the employer. Please note that a minimum of two year job
experience in an organization of repute is a must.
6) Please note that if you are in employment and are applying for Institute Research Assistantship, in the event of selection for admission, you must
resign and produce the acceptance of your resignation by (or release order from) the employer at the time of joining.
7) For Working Professional category : No Objection Certificate from the employer. Two years of post qualification experience certificate (experience
may include stints at multiple organizations) for candidates holding Bachelor/Master degree in relevant disciplines. A research proposal approved by
the prospective supervisor must be submitted by the candidate at the time of written test and/or interview.
