INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Candidates should report themselves at the venue and at the reporting time mentioned in the Admit Card and shall be admitted to
the Examination Hall on production of a printed copy of their Admit Card. Admission to the Examination Hall shall ordinarily be
refused to a candidate who fails to report on time.
2. Candidates are advised to visit their Examination Venue at least one day in advance and familiarise themselves with the itinerary
to avoid last minute problems in their own interest.
3. Examination Centre, once opted, cannot be changed. Under no circumstance shall a candidate be allowed to sit for the examination
at any centre other than the one allotted to him/her.
4. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Hall/Room until 45 minutes has passed from the commencement of the
examination. No candidate shall leave the Examination Hall without prior permission of the Invigilator.
5. Candidates should not bring any articles such as books, notes, loose sheets, mobile phones, pagers, digital diaries, etc. inside the
examination hall. Calculators are not allowed inside the examination hall except for optional/technical subjects where use of
calculator is necessary.
6. Candidates must write in their own hand. Answers must not be written in pencil - pencils may, however, be used for maps,
mathematical drawing or rough work.
Candidates with benchmark disability who would require the facility of scribe/reader/lab assistant should report themselves to the
Controller of Examinations two weeks prior to the commencement of the examination. The facility shall be allowed only to
persons with benchmark disabilities in the category of blindness, locomotor disability (both arm affected-BA) and cerebral palsy,
and other category of persons with benchmark disabilities who are certified to have physical limitation lo write, and scribe is
essential to write examination on their behalf.
7. Particulars/Details to be mentioned in the answer sheet should be mentioned completely and correctly. Any answer sheet not
carrying the required information of a concerned candidate shall not be evaluated.
8. Candidates must attempt questions in accordance with the directions on each question paper. If questions are attempted in excess
of the prescribed number, only the questions attempted first up to the prescribed number shall be evaluated and the remaining
ignored.
9. Answer script of a candidate who does not complete the examination shall not be evaluated. Wrongly numbered or unnumbered
answers shall not be evaluated. Candidate who did not appear in any paper/subject shall not be allowed to sit in the subsequent
paper/subject.
10. Any candidate who applies for his/her marksheet should enclose original or attested copy of this Admit Card.
11. Candidates detected in using unfair means during the examination shall be expelled and their names struck off the rolls. They shall
be liable to be debarred for a prescribed period from applying for all future recruitments to be conducted by the Commission.
