How To Read A Battery Date Code?

HOW TO READ A BATTERY DATE CODE?

DATE CODES

All NP products have an 8-digit code engraved on each battery. This code can only be seen
when looking down on the top of the battery. The code is not on the label on the front of the
battery and it is not on the rim around the cover. Each unique code tells when the battery
was manufactured.

The battery is boosted at Yuasa every 6 months and a white sticker is placed on the battery
with the boost date. See date code example below:
