Job Description
In collaboration with the Executive Director and the CFO, lead the Indonesia business, with full P&L
responsibility, and ensure that effective and efficient operational support is provided. Business
development is imperative in this role to ensure the business's continued financial and operational
success
Provide effective leadership for the Indonesia organization in a manner consistent with company vision
and core values at the strategic, operational, client management and organizational management levels.
Develop efficient, effective and high quality services and solutions in accordance with the annual
budget/operating plan and the APAC Region's priorities. Prepare and monitor the annual budget, and
produce timely and accurate financial reporting.
Monitor levels of service for multiple sites across Indonesia
Build and enhance positive relations with customers through effective account management with the
business development team. This includes but is not limited to arranging regular meetings with
customers to provide feedback and report on pre-determined KPI's, quality of service delivery and latest
business issues; devising and implementing strategies to extend and enhance the scope of service;
review and sign off on all invoicing to the customer.
Working closely with the Sales and Marketing team, drive all business development - from setting
objectives to driving the sales pipeline and helping BDMs with key clients. This also includes the
preparation and definition of pricing and quotation models and contractual documentation for all
company products.
In collaboration with the Executive Director, be directly responsible for the Indonesia profit and/or cost
centers as appropriate according to profitability/return on investment/budget guidelines as advised by
the Group Board of Directors.
Closely coach local management to ensure business practice and Standard Operating Procedures are
successfully implemented.
Support the development of a service provider networks across Indonesia, to ensure that there are
adequate and quality providers to support an excellent quality of service delivery.
Provide operational management and coordination of support for Services for Indonesia, consistent with
contractual commitments. This will include managing the interface with the Partner Office and the
Shared Services Center.
Ensure the delivery of competent and professional operational support, through the development of
strong Service teams for Indonesia, and ensure that an appropriate level of resources and infrastructure
is in place to provide excellent quality of services to clients, which is at the same time cost efficient.
Ensure that the business centers drive cost efficient and profitable Business Lines.
Ensure that all rosters, rotations and business travels are proactively managed and in such a manner
that Indonesia can benefit from the most cost effective travel arrangements.
Be a strong advocate and work closely with the APAC functions, both in Operations and Business
Development, and with other regions, especially to promote cross-border cooperation and sales.
Develop a strong interface with the locations' Directors, and with Regional/Group functions, to drive
achievement of business objectives.
Drive utilization of Group applications such as SalesForce (opportunity management with reasonable
opportunity status level and pipeline documentation for further consolidation in financial forecast),
Visual Planning (roster management, and days on / off reconciliation for IAS & finance action), and any
other Group Transformation projects to be rolled out in the future.
The Successful Applicant
Leadership and people management skills.
Strong track record in business development and client management with particular focus on the
Mining, Oil & Gas, or Construction industries
Strong track record providing professional services to many cross border sectors (logistics or technology
backgrounds work well here, rather than financial services, consumer or pharmaceutical backgrounds
due to the nature of urgency and less regulated products provided)
Networking skills. Ability to collaborate, co-operate and network effectively within a demanding,
culturally diverse, matrix organization;
Operational skills. A 'doer' and a hands-on leader who likes to 'roll the sleeves up' and get things done,
as well as drive overall strategy;
Entrepreneurial. Comfortable in a dynamic, fast changing, complex and unstructured environment;
International exposure and mindset, combined with cultural sensitivity and effectiveness in a
