MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION PROCEEDINGS

I. DATE AND VENUE The SK Special Elections was conducted on
______________________________________, 2019 at the Barangay Hall,
__________________, Marinduque.
II. PARTICIPANTS The activity was attended by a total of ____ Katipunan ng Kabataan
members duly registered at the barangay for the purpose of voting
in the special elections, with the Board of Election Supervisors
(BES), composed of the following:

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY
(A) Constitution of Before the constitution of the Canvass and Elections Committee,
the Canvass and Election MLGOO ARIEL R. REGINIO discussed the rules/policies for an

presiding officer, MLGOO REGINIO officially opened the selection
of the Election Committee Chair and its 2 members.
He cleared that, as a policy, those who will be selected are no
longer eligible to run in any position/office in the SK.

(B) Nominations for MLGOO instantaneously turned over the floor to the newly elected
the SK Member committee chair to facilitate the nominations for SK Members.

Nominations followed right away. The SK Chairperson, as Chair of
the Canvass and Elections Committee announced that there are
____ positions open for filling up through the special elections.

Above-mentioned nominees were each given 5 minutes to speak.
(C) Casting of Votes The rules and regulations in casting of votes were discussed by the
Canvass & Elections Committee Chair. Casting of votes started at
____________________ AM.
No problems were encountered during the casting of votes
The polling was finally closed at around 3:00 pm.
(D) Counting of Votes Before proceeding with the opening of ballots, he reminded all the
KK members present to remain seated and observe silence while
the counting of votes in on going.
Around _________ PM, as all ballots were opened and read aloud, the
Election Committee, under the Supervision of the BES, tallied all
votes cast per candidate.

The winning candidates were invited to stay in front for the
proclamation ceremony. The Oath taking immediately conducted,

(F). Concluding The DILG Field Officer concerned requested the Punong Barangay
Ceremony and other guests to deliver their messages.
Punong Barangay____________________________ congratulated the newly
elected/proclaimed SK Members.
PB ______________ reminded them of the challenge that lies ahead of
them. He also admonished the SK Officials to perform their duties
and responsibilities with the best of their abilities. He/She
challenged the new SK Officials to make a difference in their sworn
duties.
