Strategies:
Teacher will use plickers game to the students and teacher will explain how students
play plickers game.
The idea of the website ,the teacher will put a question on the board ,the students
will try to figure out the answer .Then ,they will put the answer sheet up ,the
teacher will take a scan all the students answer ,it will be shown on the screen
where the blue color refers to all students who answer the question .Lastly, the
teacher will show the students correct and wrong answer ‘5question’
This game to check students understanding because in the end of game the teacher
can see who understood the lesson and who did not.

Reflection:
This lesson was at Ahmed Bin Zayed primary school where the lesson provided to students was a science
lesson in two classes , 1 D and 1C . The start was after students came in from another class, I asked them
to stand a little at the door, then I asked them to come on the carpet, starting from group 1 to group 5.
Next, I made the daily routine. Then I started introducing the hook and the introduction for around 15
minutes, the activities 15 minutes and finally 15 minutes for both the assessment and the conclusion .in
this reflection, there is an overview bout the lesson.
During this lesson, I aimed at achieving the Los that is ,” Students will be able to: classify and compare
animals to Amphibian and reptile “ where during this lesson, I engaged students by using a classification
table and I got five eggs for each group and students role was to open the egg and take out the picture
and stuck it in the right place in the table .Besides, the group that finished first, I gave them points in the
class dojo and that according to Skinner’s theory as being a sort of positive reinforcement that
motivated students to learnfare positive reinforcement used in the lesson, I used it for the five groups
where I used two coloured cards red and green and the student who listened to the instructions and did
the activity ,put his or her name in the green area unlike the others who have bad behaviours were put
in the red area .In addition, while being students on the carpet, I explained to them what they should do
at the activities and I showed them an example and also gave them some guidelines as a guide. That
agrees with the Vygotsky’s theory of scaffolding through which, there is a support to students learning.
The overall aim of this lesson was to manage students to understand animals such amphibians and
reptiles and here the lesson was inside the class. In order to now what students wanted to know
students knowledge, I asked them what they know about animals, what they know about camels for
example, On tat lesson , I explained to them comparing between amphibians and reptiles and the
difference between them. Contently, the second lesson was about animals, so it is great topic and even
it prepared students for the next lesson as it is also about animals as well.
This lesson was for grades 1c and 1d were it occurred in the classroom where the main aim to be
achieved in this lesson was that students understand the lesson and know the differences between
amphibians and reptiles .I used some of my experiences to help students to learn through presenting a
chart including a comparison table between both amphibians and reptiles including pictures with some
translations to them and that helped students to know the pictures and even the meaning easily.
The students were widely engaged and they wanted to answer where in general students prefer animals
and even they loved the activities as they are all hands on. Consequently, they listened to the
instructions and followed what I said to them. Students responded to the lesson well that’s because at
first they knew the meaning at first, so it is easy for them and even the lesson itself was motivating and
even that lesson was connected with the students prior knowledge as last week, I read to them a story
about “ Graffilo and Fish “ and that made them know some animals .
Students during this lesson were so motivated and listed to the instructions. For example, when I ring
the bell, students became freeze and that helped me to make the lesson organized and here concerning
the teaching goals, the lesson met them as all the steps in the lesson plan were totally performed and
students understood the difference between both the amphibians and reptiles .Students created well
work where when I asked them what they leant in the lesson, they answered that they studied reptiles
and amphibians and others said animals . In plickers game, most of the students got A that means
students understood the lesson.
Supporting students learning in the future could be through making the activities more different as for
example, moving activities. For example, the first group has five minutes to finish the activities and here
that means moving from one group to another and that for gaining more experiences and that requires
that groups have differentiation. In turn, I hope to give students more examples in an easy way .Besides,
I want to improve my pronunciation as well.
