Dear Sir/Madam,

I want to accompany my wife, Samira Mahmoudi, in USA. She applied for a study permit to
continue her education in Ph.D. degree in University of South Dakota School of Mines.

I graduated from AmirKabir University of Technology, Tehran Iran with M.Sc. in 2011, and I
majored in Material engineering. After graduation, I have been working as an material
engineer in Tehran, Iran and I have experiences in teaching many courses in University.

I would like to come to USA for the duration of my wife's study and we plan to reside in
Rapid City where her University campus is located. I want to study during my stay to achieve
new and unique experiences.

My family ties include my father, Mother, and 2 brothers that all of them are living in
Gorgan, Iran. In addition, my wife's parents and brothers are also living in Iran.

Apart from emotional bonds with my spouse which is the main reason to move to USA, I
could also benefit from this beautiful Country. Firstly, it is the best opportunity to improve
my English; English proficiency will open many new doors for me when I come back to Iran.
Secondly, I could spend some time in one of the most beautiful countries with amazing
sceneries and rich culture.

I hope this letter will help to convince you of my genuine desire to come to USA with my
wife and leaving USA at the end of my stay. Thank you very much for your time.

I declare that the particulars given above are true and correct in every detail. I understand
that incorrect or misleading statements may result in refusal of my admission and/or
student visa application.
