Modes of transportation:-
Yonex is a Japanese manufacturer of sporting equipment for badminton, golf,
and tennis, producing rackets, clubs, shoes, shuttlecocks, tennis balls, and
other equipment for those sports they are exported to other countries.
Through different modes of transportation.
1. Air transportation- YONEX Company manufactures badminton
rackets in larger amount and is been exported to the required
country. The recommended mode of transportation is Air freight
shipping, through this badminton racket are reached at every
corner of a country in their respective airports. Later from airport
the product needs to be transferred to local distributers.
2. Road transport- when the product reaches at respective airport,
later through road transport (trucks, vans, etc.) products are been
provided to local distributers and then the distributers give to
  consumer as per their requirement.
3. Water transport- This transportation is not expensive compare to
air transportation and road transportation, but it is a time
consuming mode of transportation. This mode takes months to
reach at the given destination. Form shipyard road transportation is
used to make goods reach with local vendors so that they can
provide the products to consumers as per their demand.
  Example:-
(1)Yonex badminton rackets are been shipped through air transport
from Japan to Canada. Later from Canada airport the goods are
been shipped to different area where the local dealers have
demanded, all done through road transportation.
  (2) Badminton rackets of Yonex are sometimes been transferred
through water transportation to Canada. It takes months to
reach from one place of world to another place of world. When
the rackets are been reached to the shipyard of Canada from
there road transportation facility is been used to make YONEX
badminton rackets available to the distributers. So, consumer
     can purchase their required item.
- From the above discussed view road transportation is been
used in both the cases, so it can be consider as important
mode of transportation in trading of goods.
