Dear Parents
What a fabulous week the children have had! We started on Monday with an interesting and
informative tour of a Hindu Temple and ended with “spotty” curriculum activities to support
Children in Need. The Indian Wedding really brought Hinduism alive for the children who
have not stopped talking about it!

most children generally take part. Tracy, our cook, needs to know numbers in advance so please send in the slip
by Friday 26th November 2010. The cost is £2.05 per child. We will endeavour to sit the children with packed
lunches in the hall at the same time, so they don’t miss out on the atmosphere!

“My Day at Recorder Workshop”

“On Saturday I went to a Recorder Workshop in Oxford.
TUESDAY 21ST DECEMBER There were 10 people in my group. We played 6 tunes.
2010 There were 3 types of recorders played so it was really
confusing because we were all playing different parts.
FROM 7PM There were lots of descants, 2 trebles, and 1 bass. I
learnt 3 new notes – they were: high E, F and G. After
that we had a break. I bought a big caramel. Then we

went back in the class and decided what we were going to
do in the show for the parents. The parents came at 5pm
ALL AGES WELCOME!
and we went on stage and played some tunes. I really
enjoyed it”.
