Exams are an important part of a student's school life as they determine university acceptance and job opportunities. However, there are issues with the exam system as a student's entire year can depend on one short exam, and students find the pressure of exams very difficult and stressful. In addition, exams are not representative of how people have to work or how they are judged in the real world as people usually work on projects over time with references available. Therefore, in the author's opinion, there are better alternatives to the exam system and it is important to find other methods of testing students.
