This study aims to examine the significance of corporate social responsibility initiatives for firms. While many large multinational companies and well-established organizations have adopted CSR, the results show that many are still lacking in CSR activities. Firms that do not focus on CSR have experienced financial losses and reputation damage, as CSR contributes to development, growth, and attracting investors. Therefore, CSR should be considered an important activity for enhancing organizational performance, especially in the banking sector.

6 Significance of the Study

“In recent times, a lot of firms including multinational decided that they should take corporate

social respOnsibility initiatives although the results shows that many organizations are still

lacking in taking “CSR” initiatives. Due to which many the well established companies are still

not able to compete on international platforms, which caused the them huge financial loss and

their reputation decreases. Still many firms dOes not focuses on the CSR activities. However, the

organizations which does take the CSR initiatives have gained much profit and goOdwill with

time. As CSR contribute an significant part in the development and growth of the firm and in

attracting the new investors. Therefore, CSR must be considered as a most important activity in

order to enhance the organizational performance especially in baking sectors.”
