013-003 Alternator Bracket
Install
Spool Mount:
Install the upper
alternator bracket
and mounting
capscrews.
Tighten the upper
and lower alternator
bracket mounting
capscrew.

M8 24 n.m
lb]
[32 ft-
M10 43 n.m
lb]
NOTE: On some
applications, the
alternator bracket
and water inlet are
combined in the
same bracket. Refer
to Procedure 008-
082, where
applicable.
Install the lower
alternator mounting
bracket over the two
dowel pins.

Install the two
alternator bracket
mounting capscrews
and tighten.
Torque
Value: 54 n.m [40 ft-
lb]
Hinge Mount:
Install the upper
alternator bracket
and mounting
capscrews.
Install the lower
alternator bracket
and mounting
capscrew.
NOTE: Depending
on the alternator
configuration, it
may be necessary
to wait until the
alternator is
installed before
tightening the lower
alternator bracket.
This will allow
adjustment of the
bracket.
Tighten the upper
and lower alternator
bracket mounting
capscrew.
